In 2012, I gave birth to my daughter. Just 3 months after birth she started to suffer from eczema. This was my first time having to deal with eczema, so I didn’t know what to do. I used the steroid creams the doctors prescribed, and they just weren’t working.

I was frustrated, I cried because there was nothing I could do for my child. At least that’s what I thought at first. I did some research and found Shea Butter.

When I first used it on her skin it worked wonders! I mean it was greasy, but it was natural! Didn’t have those steroids or any of those other crazy ingredients. I loved it! I then started making more products with it.

I may not sell all these products yet, but they are in the works. I like to test my product first and have people use them before I sell them. I refuse to sell anything that is not worth selling. Your money is something you worked hard for and I’m not here to waste it.

Now, fast forward to 2018 my youngest had eczema. But this time I was prepared. I knew what to do. I was successful in healing one child, and I knew I would be successful in healing another.

Many of my close friends and families loved my products and encouraged me to start selling. At first, I was hesitant because I started to question myself.

Who knows me? Who will buy my products? I love my products but, will they?

These were questions I asked myself repeatedly. Until December 2020. I was tired of working my career and wanted to become my own boss. So, I took the jump and did it.

March 1st, 2021, Shay ButterNaked LLC made its first sale. And another sale, and another! All it took was 1 person to make a purchase to make me see that I can make a difference in people's lives.

Now Shay ButterNaked is a family business run by my daughters and me. We love making amazing products that help everyone deal with dry to normal skin.
